Family Support Program
Offered in partnership with the Ministry of Social Services, the Family Support Program provides intensive, in-home support to families and individuals on a voluntary basis or as contracted by the Ministry of Social Services.
All families can understand and relate to the stress that is involved in raising children. This program is designed to assist with these common family struggles.
The role of the Family Support Worker is to assist families in identifying their strengths, stresses, skills, and risk areas. The Family Support Worker will also teach problem solving skills, communication skills, age appropriate child development and parenting practices, household management, organizational and daily living skills.
Parents desire the best for their children, no parent sets out to fail. However, in our fast-paced life with many demands on families, relationships can break down.
We want to provide opportunities for families to be healthy and for parents to care for the people that matter the most, their children.
